zk.money Desktop

zk.money Desktop is a version of zk.money that runs locally.

zk.money Desktop is the same wallet that you use on the zk.money website, opened with the same passkey.

The only difference between zk.money Desktop and the zk.money website is that the Desktop app is served directly from your own device, rather than from the zk.money web domain.

Verify your download (Linux)

Download SHA256SUMS — the fingerprint list published with the release — on zk.money's GitHub page. Put it into the same folder as the AppImage (usually Downloads). Then open a terminal and run:

cd ~/Downloads sha256sum --check --ignore-missing SHA256SUMS

You should see the AppImage’s name followed by OK.

If it says FAILED, don’t run the AppImage — delete it, then download the file again from this page. If the fresh copy still fails the check, don’t run it — contact us through zk.money’s official channels.
